  10. AminetFileRequester is a Aminet recent mail and Aminet search tool.
  11. It was mainly designed, because I'm a very lazy person and 
  12. wanted a program that downloads, checks and unpacks Aminet files
  13. automatically. But I didn't find one that fit my needs, so I wrote
  14. AminetFileRequester.
  15.  
  16. Features:
  17. - comfortable and easy to use MUI gui
  18. - mailer independent through the use of rexx scripts (script for YAM is
  19.   included, MD-II is planned)
  20. - you can download files directly without the use of 3rd party programs
  21. - you can request recent files via ftp-mail (supported is sending the
  22.   request mail while you're online or exporting it to your mailer)
  23. - auto offline function
  24. - virus check of received files through xvs.library
  25. - auto extraction of received files
  26. - powerful searching functions: 
  27.    - search for files in recent mails or on Aminet
  28. - detects Message-of-the-Day in recent mails
  29. - you can view readme files of uploads without getting the uploads
  30. - very configurable
  31. - fast and cheap
  32. - and many many more things you have to find out yourself.... :-)

  35. Requierements:
  36. - MUI
  37. - a Miami compatible TCP/IP stack
  38. - an email program (scripts for YAM included)
  39. - a subscribtion to the "Todays recent aminet uploads" or "Weekly recent
  40.   aminet uploads" list. If you are not already subscribed then send a mail
  41.   to "listproc@mail.wustl.edu" and in the body "SUBSCRIBE aminet-daily
  42.   <your emailaddress>" for the daily list or "SUBSCRIBE aminet-weekly
  43.   <your emailaddress>" for the weekly list. You will then get every day
  44.   or every week a list with all aminet uploads. Cool, isn't it?
